I have been. It's been a small comfort to be able to relax after that last mission.

[ But he will inquire about what needs to be discussed so soon. ]

Is there something wrong?

I wished to speak with you of a personal issue I have. [There's only a few people he's wiling to reach out to. Julius would consider Arima a trustworthy ally by now.]

Recently I've found it difficult to wield weapons for prolonged periods of time. That was never a problem until Woodhurst.

Could mental exhaustion be causing this inconvenience? We're constantly working on new missions. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case.

What do you think?

[ Well. He sure wasn't expecting this, but he's actually quite used to it given his situation with Haise. The other had often come to him to discuss things in private, of course, Arima knew the causes of his more...worrying problems. But it was a bit surprising to see Julius confide in him like so. ]

Perhaps it is. Did anything happen to you in Woodhurst that the other missions never caused? Mental and physical exhaustion may be the cause if not.

[ He knows how rough that mission was, even on himself, he found to be far more tired and lethargic after this mission than Perdition's Rest. ]

I see then. There wasn't anything too out of the ordinary.

[He's glad he can talk to Arima like this. It's reassuring in many ways.]

Exhaustion's most likely the cause, yes.

Have you felt similarly or fatigued to a certain extent after the mission?

[ Arima's glad for the man's confiding within him as well. It wasn't very often that people outside his own world do this. He isn't exactly the most approachable after all. ]

Yeah I have to an extent. [ But he was always tired, really, so who knows if it's any worse now. ]

It's nothing too out of the ordinary for myself though.

Well, you would know your own habits best.

Of course. The last mission was hard on all of us though. [ A pause. ]

Perhaps relaxing and resting will do you some good. [ Says the man who is training almost every day regardless of his fatigue. ]

Yes, I suppose.

It's hard to completely relax when we're under so much stress during missions.

We still have to try and recuperate when we can though.

Stress only wears the body down. Have you tried the hot springs by any chance?

[ Arima suggesting something leisurely?! What is going on in the world. ]

I have. It was an interesting experience.

Hot springs are rare where I'm from. How about you?

[The temperature was always so abnormal in his world. Julius couldn't pass the chance to try. He wonders about Arima's experiences..]

They're common in my world and Japan is known for their hotsprings, but...I've never had the luxury of going to one.

[ All work and no play tbh. ]

They're quite nice...for aches and pains I suppose.

[It's okay, he's not judging.]

There may be some special properties inside the spring that helps with body pain.

I'm no expert on that subject though.

The steam and heat help the body heal faster I think. [ But Arima doesn't seem to believe that very much, if his tone is anything to go by.

There's a long pause before he finally speaks again. Cutting through the silence as he remembers what Sonia had said to him a few weeks back. ]

Sonia mentioned that you weren't feeling well. How are you doing now?

[ Perhaps this was the reason for their talk? ]

She did? I'm doing better now, thank you.

Still, I should be more careful regardless. A human body has limits unfortunately.

[So he shouldn't push himself more than he has to. Julius isn't sure if the steam helps either, seems pointless to think on it further. He shrugs. ]

I wasn't supposed to say, but it's better to be open about such things especially in a place like this. [ He's just gonna apologize to Sonia if he runs into her again. He actually forgot about not telling Julius but he doesn't seem to mind. ]

Unfortunately some of us are also born with genes that make it even harder on the body. [ His eyes narrow a little as he looks downward at his own hands again. ]

Life is difficult that way.

It's true though. In this type of situation , it's better to be open and honest. I've been trying to do that myself, actually.

I assume Reika knows as well? [ She was the one closest to him so it's only natural for her to know. ]

Either way I won't speak of it to anyone else. What exactly happened?

To be blunt, the combat abilities I've been using puts considerable strain on my health.
